　　What is responsibility? It is similar to the word—obligation. For instance, a mother has a duty of taking care of her baby, and so does a president has responsibility for his nation. In fact, everyone has responsibility.

　　Responsibility can be divided into different kinds, personal responsibility, family responsibility and social responsibility, to name but a few.

　　For instance, as a college student, the personal responsibility is to study hard and to master the knowledge and skills that he will need in future career.

　　In terms of the family responsibility, it may include bringing up children, caring for the elderly and loving family.

　　When it comes to social responsibility, it is of great significance. For instance, protecting environment is a basic and important responsibility for everyone. Owing to this responsibility, it helps to make our society beautiful. A case in point is Zhu Panpan, a woman driver, who is highly praised by the whole public for her good deeds. One day, when waiting for the traffic light, a driver unscrupulously and shamelessly threw the rubbish on the ground. There is no doubt that this ugly behavior not only pollutes the environment, but also contaminates the social morality. Fortunately, and proudly, Ms Zhu witnessed the situation and picked all the rubbish up without hesitation. Though it is a small action, it shows a strong sense of social responsibility of Ms Zhu. It is these actions of kindness that make our society more beautiful.

　　Responsibility is connected with right. They are interrelated and inalienable. Have you ever heard the famous Peter Parker’s Principle: “With greater power, comes greater responsibility”? It means the more rights one has, the more responsibility he should take. A case in point is Zhong Nanshan, a respiratory disease expert and a leading figure in the fight against COVID-19. When the epidemic broke out, he immediately rushed to the hardest-hit areas to guide and help, all the time dedicating to the containing of virus. Because he knows that it is his duty to do that.

　　To sum up, each of us has responsibility. It is these responsibilities that make our society more beautiful and stable. Even a small duty can make a big difference.
