　　Spend,pay,take,cost都表示花费，但用法却不同：

　　1. spend的主语必须是人，常用于以下结构：

　　①Spend time/money on sth.在......上花费时间/金钱

　　如：I spent two hours on this problem.这个难题花了我两小时。

　　②spend time/money (in) doing sth.花费时间/金钱做某事。

　　如：He spent one year (in) finishing the book.写这本书花了他一年时间。

　　2. pay的基本用法：

　　Pay (sb.)money for sth.付钱（给某人）买某物。

　　如:I must pay 100 yuan for this skirt.我必须要支付100元买这条短裙。

　　3. take后面常接双宾语

　　It takes sb. +时间+to do sth.做某事花了某人多少时间。

　　如：It took me 20 minutes to having lunch.吃午餐花了我20分钟。

　　4. cost主语是物或某种活动还可以表示“值”

　　Sth. costs (sb.)+金钱，某物花了（某人）多少钱

　　如：A skirt costs me 100 yuan.一条短裙花了我100元。

　　注意：She spent 100 yuan on the skirt.=She paied 100 yuan for the skirt.=The skirt cost her 100 yuan.她花了100元买这条短裙。

　　It took me one hour to do my homework.=I spent one hour doing my homework.我花了一小时做家庭作业。
